KABUL Minister Mohammad Mirwais Balkhi on Saturday said a has been devised plan to give schoolteachers apartments instead of land plots in future.
Balkhi made the announcement while addressing a gathering marking Teacher Day in Kabul. He said distribution of land plots was not economic for the teachers.
He said despite 46,000 acres of land distribution to teachers for housing, the problem remained unresolved.
He said his ministry has developed a plan based on which teachers would get apartments instead of land plots . . .
