PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A campaign to demolish homes built on state land has been kicked off in central Logar province, an official said on Thursday.
Deputy Governor Mohammad Nabi Ahmadzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the campaign to retrieve state land in Logar province was started in compliance with order from the Supreme Court.
“Today, we destroyed around 200 homes on land grabbed in Honi Sufla locality on the outskirts of provincial capital and retrieved around 100 acres of land,” he said. He said the drive would be extended to districts as well . . .
