AIBAK (Pajhwok): Three young men were killed and another three injured in a traffic accident in Hazrat Sultan district of northern Samangan province, local officials said on Friday.
A corolla car crashed into a trailer in Ghaznigag area on the Samangan-Balkh highway on Thursday, said provincial police spokesman Munir Rahimi.
The trailer’s driver has been arrested in connection with the incident, he said.
Muqbil, a doctor on duty at the provincial civil hospital in Aibak, the provincial capital, said the injured had been brought to the hospital and one of them was in critical condition.
He said the critical injured person had been referred to the zonal hospital. The victims were young men aged between 20 and 30 years.
