KABUL (Pajhwok): Kam Air airline would shift 2,000 children suffering from ventricular septal defects (VDD) to India for treatment annually free of cost under an agreement signed on Sunday.
The agreement was signed between Mirwais Ekram, deputy director of Hilal Ahmar Afghani organization and Suliman Omar, head of Kam Air Airline.
Mirwais Ekram told a ceremony in this regard that their organization had shifted around 10,600 children with VDD to India and China for treatment within the past 10 years.
