JALALALBAD (Pajhwok): At the head of a high-level delegation, President Ashraf Ghani on Tuesday arrived in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News Ghani reached Jalalabad, the provincial capital, in the morning.
He said the president was accompanied by Meshrano Jirga Chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar, National Security Advisor Hamdullah Mohib and a number of ministers.
Khogyani added Ghani would address a huge public gathering in Jalalabad, besides meeting the governor, tribal elders, religious scholars . . .
