KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Residents of southeastern Khost province on Saturday said they were deeply concerned about the removal of 209 polio awareness program workers in the province.
They said if the public awareness programs about polio virus were stopped, the process would face multiple problems.
These public awareness workers had been appointed by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Afghanistan in Ali Shir, Spira and Garbaz districts of the province.
