KABUL affairs minister on Sunday congratulated his newly appointed Afghan counterpart Mohammad Hanif Atmar,
S Jaishankar tweeted he looked forward to working closely with Atmar to further cement cooperative relations between Afghanistan and India.
"Heartiest congratulations to my friend @MHaneefAtmar on his appointment as the minister of foreign affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.”
The minister wrote: “ Look forward to working closely with him to further strengthen strategic partnership between India and Afghanistan."
