PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): An Afghan national has died from the Covid-19 pandemic in Peshawar, the capital of Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The outpatient departments of major hospitals in Peshawar and elsewhere in the country have been shut due to the rapid spread of the virus. About 720 infections have been reported so far in the province.
On Sunday, at least five Covid-19 patients, including one Afghan national, died in Peshawar and one at the Ayub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.
