MoPH spokesman Wahidullah Mayar told Pajhwok Afghan News so far 99 people had recovered and 30 others, including three doctors, died from the disease in the country.
The new cases include 26 in Kabul, 15 in Kandahar, six in Balkh, five each in Herat and Kunduz provinces, four in Helmand, three in Laghman and one each in Nangarhar and Kunar provinces, said Mayar.
He said no death was reported from the Covid-19 pandemic during the past 24 hours.
