PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad met Pakistan in the port city of Rawalpindi on Friday.
During their meeting at the General Headquarters, Gen. Bajwa and Khalilzad discussed issues of mutual interest and the overall regional security situation, the army said.
The reconciliation process in Afghanistan also figured at the meeting, said a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations -- the army’s media wing.
