KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan government on Tuesday claimed progress in talks with the Stability and Partnership team led by Dr. Abdullah to end the political crisis, saying any agreement will be made in light of the constitution.
After the Independent Election Commission declared President Ashraf Ghani as the winner with 50.64% of the vote, his main rival Abdullah Abdullah, who came second with 39.52%, contested the result and declared victory. The political differences are yet to be solved.
