Wahidullah Majrooh, deputy spokesman for MoPH, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the new cases were confirmed from amongst 1,427 suspected patients.
He said the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Afghanistan had spiked to 20,342. At least 30 people died and 45 recovered in the past 24 hours.
The virus has so far killed 357 people in the country, where 1,875 others . . .
