KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): The Mirwais hospital in southern Kandahar province, where patients from nearby provinces and war and traffic casualties are brought, is in short supply of blood.
Officials say after the outbreak of coronavirus in Afghanistan Hussain blood bank in the Mirwais hospital to donate blood.
Dr. Asadullah at the Imam Hussain blood bank told Pajhwok Afghan News that corona had affected every sphere of life including blood donation.
He said previously they would have 350 to 400 pints of blood available in the hospital . . .
