HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Education officials say 30 percent of schools lack buildings and students are taught in tents in western Herat province.
Zekria Rahmani, director of education, told Pajhwok Afghan News that construction work to build 250 schools was underway since two years under Iqra program of the government.
He said at least 60 schools had been established in Herat City and districts during the ongoing year.
