KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has said terrorists could not restrict the freedom of expression by killing journalists, according to a statement issued on Thursday.
The statement from Presidential Palace quoted the president as saying that terrorists killed a journalist this morning and injured some civilians in an attempt to shut the voice of free media in order to hide their crimes.
Ghani said the freedom of speech was a milestone achievement that came after huge sacrifices.
