<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> should understand the matter, according to a statement on Friday.</p>
<p>Abdullah traveled to western Herat province on Thursday evening to participate in the 9<sup>th</sup> round of Herat Security Dialogue and exchange views with the people of Herat on peace process.</p>
<p> He said the prime demand of the people of Afghanistan was the establishment of peace, end to ongoing war and violence.</p>
<p>“People may have questioned that why there is violence and fighting when Afghan and the Taliban delegations are engaged in talks in Doha. In my view there is no winner and loser in peace talks,” he said.</p>
<p>An exceptional opportunity was available to establish peace and end the 40 years of war and grievances and the Taliban should avail an opportunity, he added.</p>
<p>Governor Abdul Waheed Qatali said: “Our people are hopeful that peace talks under your leadership may reach a logical conclusion and it is a collective demand of the people.”</p>
