Afghanistan records 10 deaths from coronavirus in past 24hrs

KABUL (Pajhwok): Ten persons died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours taking the total number deaths from respiratory disease to 2,189 in the country, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Tuesday.

During the past 24 hours 183 new coronavirus cases have been registered in the country that pushed the total number of people affected by the virus to 52,330 nation-wide.

Over 190 people have been recovered from coronavirus during the period that took the total number of recovered people to 41,801 in the country.

The MoPH has asked the masses to ensure compliance to health guidelines as Afghanistan was going through the second wave of the coronavirus.
