3 dead, 6 injured in Laghman collision

MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Three individuals were killed and six others wounded in a roadside collision on the Kabul-Jalalabad highway, an official said on Thursday.

Obaidullah Dawlatzai, the Laghman governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident came in Aziz Khan Kas area of the province, on Wednesday evening.

He added the accident happened when two corolla type vehicles collided. The accident resulted in casualties.

“Three people were killed and six others injured in the head-on collision,” he said.

Dawlatzai said, the wounded were evacuated to Nangarhar’s provincial hospital for medical treatment.

Most of such incidents happen due to carelessness of drivers and poor road condition.
