Buildings for 45 schools to be constructed under Iqra Schem

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Under the Iqra Scheme, buildings for 45 schools will be constructed in eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Friday.

Attaullah Khogyani, the governor spokesperson, said documents related to the construction of 45 school buildings worth 180 million handed over to Acting Education Minister Rangina Hameedi by Rural Rehabilitation and Development Minister Mujeeburrahman Karimi.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani was present during the signing ceremony of the agreement

He said under the Iqra Scheme some school buildings in 12 districts would be constructed in which 35,000 students would be able to get education.
