Dr. Waheed Majroh appointed acting health minister

KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has appointed Dr. Waheed Majroh as the acting Minister of Public Health Ministry, an official said.

Assistant Presidential Spokesperson Dawa Khan Minapal told Pajhwok Afghan News Dr. Majroh has been appointed as acting health minister to ensure the smooth flow of ministry affairs

Majroh also confirmed his appointment as acting minister of Public Health. He did not provide more details.

It is worth mentioning that President Ghani fired former health minister Jawad Usmani three days after his brother and relatives arrested over alleged corruption.
