KABUL (Pajhwok): China has pledged to provide 200,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine to Afghanistan, the Ministry of Public Health (MoP) said on Friday in a statement.
During a video meeting with Acting Public Health Minister Dr. Waheed Majroh, Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Wang Yu pledged to provide 200,000 does of coronavirus vaccine to Afghanistan.
Majroh hailed Beijing’s vaccine donation to Afghanistan and support during coronavirus pandemic.
The acting health minister drew the Chinese envoy attention to other areas in health sector where China could support Afghanistan.
Envoy Yu stressed over Beijing continued support to Afghanistan and assured health ministry of full support.
