KABUL (Pajhwok): The newly-appointed US deputy special representative for Afghanistan reconciliation Tom West has worked in eastern Kunar province and is completely familiar with the war-torn country.
Few days back, President Ashraf Ghani said US President Joe Biden had appointed new deputy for Zalmay Khalilzad.
Last week, Khalilzad met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the newly-appointed deputy to Khalilzad Tom West was also present at the meeting.
