KABUL (Pajhwok): The death toll from Covid-19 infection has reached half a million in the United States, a report said on Tuesday.
The virus, which surfaced about a year back in China’s Wuhan province, rapidly spread to around 210 countries in the world. The virus has been controlled in some countries but its second wave is hitting others.
According to John Hopkins University of the US, worldwide Covid-19 positive cases have reached 112 million as of today afternoon.
The university says more than 82 million of those infected have so far recovered while around 2.48 million . . .
