2 people killed, 4 injured in Nangarhar blasts

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and four others injured in four back to back blasts in Jalalabad City, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province, on Sunday, an official said.

A municipality worker and another civilian were killed in the blast, the Governor Office media wing said.

Police Spokesperson Farid Khan also acknowledged the blasts.

Nangarhar Zonal Hospital Spokesperson Gulzada Sangar said four injured had been evacuated to the hospital from the site of the blast.

No group claimed responsibility for the blasts.
