KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Saturday said 72 new positive Covid-19 cases were registered in the last 24 hours in the country.
The ministry in a statement said 1,175 people underwent tests since Saturday and the virus was detected in 72 people, pushing the overall tally to 57,793.
It said 28 cases were detected in Nangarhar, 21 in Kandahar, 13 in Kabul, 5 in Kunar, 3 in MiadanWardak , 1 each in Logar and Uruzgan provinces.
At least 10 individuals recovered, taking the recoveries to 52,115. And no one died of the infection . . .
