KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan Cancer Foundation says each year 20,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in Afghanistan and 15,000 of them succumb to the disease.
Director of Afghanistan Cancer Foundation, NasrinOryakhil told a press conference in Kabul on Thursday that the Jamhooriat Hospital has 60 beds for cancer patients which are not enough.
Nasrin said that according to the research of World Health Organization (WHO) each year 20,000 people in Afghanistan are diagnosed with cancer and 15,000 of the patients die due to the disease.
