KABUL (Pajhwok): The Australian ambassador to Afghanistan has promised continued support to Afghan National Police (ANP), the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Wednesday.
Paul Wojciechowski held out the assurance at a meeting with Minister of Interior Hayatullah Hayat, a statement from MoI said.
It added Hayat thanked Australia for its assistance to Afghan police and stressed on continued support from that country.
Hayat assured the Australian diplomat that ensuring the security of embassies, diplomatic missions and foreign envoys was the priority of MoI.
