KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Saturday said 654 new positive Covid-19 cases and 20 deaths from the infection were registered in the last 24 hours in the country.
The ministry in a statement said 2,871 people underwent tests since Friday and the virus was detected in 654 people, pushing the overall tally to 70,761.
It said 234 cases were detected in Kabul, 132 in Balkh, 60 in Kandahar , 49 in Logar, 34 in Helmand, 26 in Laghman, 24 in Nimroz, , 21 in Takhar, 15 in Kunduz, , 11 each in Kunar, Zabul, 10 each . . .
