KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 1,509 new Covid-19 cases and 34 deaths have been recorded in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said on Thursday.
The ministry in a statement said 4,392 tests were conducted during the past 24 hours and the virus was detected in 1,509 people, bringing the overall tally to 76,628.
Of the fresh cases, 557 were recorded in Kabul, 172 in Balkh, 154 in Takhar, 123 in Kunduz, 82 in Nangarhar, 69 in Kandahar, 55 in MaidanWardak, 43 in Kapisa, 36 in Badakhshan, 34 in Ghazni, 32 . . .
