KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Monday said 1582 new positive Covid-19 cases and 56 deaths from the infection were registered in the last 24 hours in the country.
The ministry in a statement said 4,671 people underwent tests since Saturday and the virus was detected in 1582 people, pushing the overall tally to 82,326.
The statement, however, did not specify the number of cases recorded in each province.
At least 376 individuals recovered since yesterday, taking the recoveries to 85,998 and 56 people lost their lives to the virus during the period . . .
