PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Taliban militants have shot dead 10 deminers and injured 16 others in northern Baghlan province, the Ministry of Interior said on Wednesday.
However, Taliban denied their involvement in attack on deminers in Baghlan.
Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants attacked a camp of deminers in Sheikh Jalal Darwaza area of Baghlan-i-Markazi area on Tuesday night.
He said the insurgents opened fire at deminers which resulted in killing of 10 and injuring 14 others.
