HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): All private and public schools, universities, madaris and educational centers have been closed for two weeks in western Herat province due to increasing Covid-19 infections and deaths, officials said on Saturday.
Deputy Governor, Noor Ahmad Haidari, told a press conference here the number of Covid-19 infections and deaths had increased in the last one week and warned that if Herat residents did not follow health guidelines then the current numbers would increase.
He added that they had asked in-charges of wedding halls, baths, cafes and other gathering places to close down for two weeks . . .
