CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): An oxygen production station, which remained closed for years, has been reactivated in central Parwan province to address the problem of lack of oxygen, local officials said on Thursday.
The development comes as 12 Covid-19 patients succumbed to the virus last night in Parwan province.
Director of Parwan Department of Public Health, Safiullah Warasta said the station located in Parwan Fire Department started operation after being repaired.
He said the station has the capacity to produce two cylinders of oxygen in one hour without any cost.
