KABUL (Pajhwok): Some Mesharano Jirga members on Sunday asked the government to stop incidents of blowing up of electricity pylons in cooperation with residents of concerned localities and punish individuals behind the destruction.
According to reports, in the past one month over 12 electricity pylons were blown up in northern part of Kabul province by unknown armed people, but the pylons were rehabilitated and electricity supply was restored to Kabul and some other provinces.
Senator Anar Kali Hunaryar stressed the need for identification of individuals behind blowing up of pylons and said these individuals should be punished.
