HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): The sixth grand exhibition of domestic industrial products titled ‘Peace and Self-reliance’ kicked off in western Herat province on Sunday.
Addressing the inaugural session of the exhibition, Commerce Minister Nisar Ahmad Faizi said Afghanistan had achieved self-reliance in producing 60 industrial items.
He said industrialists were trying to achieve self-reliance in the remaining 40 items as well.
He said 220 different types of items --- food, construction, non-alcoholic drinks and agriculture products --- have been displayed at the show.
The commerce minister asked the Taliban to renounce violence and work in the country’s factories . . .
