KABUL (Pajhwok): The Qatari Emir has sent a special letter to Afghanistan president Ashraf Ghani about strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Qatari foreign ministry’s special envoy Dr. Majid Bin Mutlaq Al Qahtani arrived in Kabul two days ago and met with many Afghan political leaders and government officials.
He also met with president Ghani in the Presidential Palace on Wednesday evening.
A statement from the Presidential Palace received by Pajhwok Afghan News said that the two sides discussed the Afghan peace process and bilateral relations between Qatar and Afghanistan.
