HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): A number of residents and officials of western Herat province donated blood to Afghan security forces during a campaign on Sunday.
Herat people said that the aim of the blood donation campaign was to support Afghan security forces.
They said that Afghan forces were sacrificing their lives for the defence of the country and Afghans should donate blood to wounded Afghan troops to save their lives.
Khalil Ahmad, a resident of Herat province, talking to Pajhwok Afghan News, said, “We participated in a blood donation campaign to help wounded Afghan forces and announce our support for them . . .
