FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): A number of drug addicts in western Ghor province say they’re willing to quit addiction if the government admits them in hospital.
Most of the addicts in Ferozkoh, the provincial capital, gather on the sidewalks and alleys and especially in recreational gardens.
A Pajhwok reporter interviewed a number of addicts who spend their day and night away from families on the sidewalks.
A number of them said they are willing to quit addiction, but the lack of a well-equipped hospital in Ferozkoh meant they have not been able to renounce the addiction.
