KABUL (Pajhwok): Nearly 140 coronavirus cases and eight deaths recorded in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Thursday.
During the period 509 suspected cases brought to the different laboratories for test in which 138 were positive taking the total number of positive cases to 152,960 nationwide.
Of the new cases, 27 each cases registered in Kabul, Badakhshan each, 25 in Badghis, 13 in Kandahar, 12 in Nangarhar, 10 in Zabul, 7 in Kunduz, six in Takhar, five Balkh, three in Paktia and two in Farah and one in Ghor province.
