KABUL (Pajhwok): Public sector universities would reopen in about a week after solution to economic and some other problems, the acting higher education minister said on Sunday.
Sharing his ministry’s higher education policy, Sheikh Abdul Baqi Haqqani told a press conference in Kabul that the focus would be on far-off areas.
He said they had talked with owners of private universities to reduce fees in order to enable all students to have access to higher education.
“There are some economic and other issues in the public sector universities which would be resolved in a week,” the minister said . . .
