KABUL (Pajhwok): Some truckers on Thursday complained the Taliban had stopped their vehicles in the CharkhAab area of Kabul and did not allow them to proceed.
Officials, however, said the trucks stopped were loaded beyond the fixed weight therefore they were not allowed to move.
According to truck drivers, they were stopped in Balkh province for 10 days and now again they were stopped in Kabul’s CharkhAab area.
“We were allowed in Mazar-e-Shaif because our trucks were already loaded. They said next time our trucks should not be loaded beyond fixed weight,” said a trucker Hikmatullah.
