KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s higher education system has been influenced by Western thoughts over the the past 20 years, the minister concerned said on Wednesday.
Higher Education Minister Abdul Baqi Haqqani claimed efforts were ongoing to revive and improve the standard of higher education in the country.
According to a government statement, Haqqani made the comments during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Afghanistan Bahadar Aminian.
The ambassador assured him that Tehran would remain committed to cooperating with and supporting Afghanistan in the field of higher education.
