KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan has renewed support to the higher education and vocational training of Afghan students, a statement from Pakistani Embassy in Kabul said on Friday.

Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan Mansoor Ahmad Khan made the pledge while welcoming students of computer and English courses at the Vocational Training Institute of the Embassy.

Highliting Pakistan’s abiding commitment to education of Afghan students he said presently more than 50,000 Afghan alumni of Pakistan academic institutions were working in public sector organization of Afghanistan and were playing their role for the betterment of Afghan society.

After Covid-19 pandemic, classes at the Institute were resumed on 17th October in purpose-built classrooms in a recently build consular building of the Embassy.
