KABUL (Pajhwok): Iranian Ambassador Bahadur Aminian has expressed his country’s readiness to help rebuild historical monuments in southern Ghazni province.
Iranian media reported on Saturday that Aminian travelled to Ghazni on Thursday and visited the main provincial museum and other monuments.
During a meeting with local officials in Ghazni City, the ambassador promised his country would help restore the provincial monuments.
The report does not specify which Afghan officials the Iranian ambassador met. But he had already met Maulvi Khairullah Kherkhwa, the acting minister of information.
Pajhwok shared the issue with government spokesmen but they did not respond.
