KABUL (Pajhwok): Twenty-six tonnes of Afghanistan’s pine nuts have been sold in a single day during an exhibition in China, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) said on Monday.
A statement from the ministry said pine nuts were sold during exhibition in the Shanghai city of China -- the biggest importer of Afghanistan’s dried fruit.
China recently imported 45 tonnes of pine nuts from Afghanistan. It was the first high-quantity export from Afghanistan after the fall of the previous regime on August 15.
