PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The government has announced reaching a complete ceasefire with the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Talks between the government and the TTP took place in accordance with the Constitution, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry told the state-run Pakistan Television (PTV).
Pajhwok shared the issue with the Afghan government spokesman, but received no comment in this regard.
The ceasefire would be extended keeping in view the headway achieved at negotiations, he said, promising due regard for state sovereignty, national security and economic stability.
