TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Residents of Dehrawud and Khas Uruzgan districts of central Uruzgan province say there are hospitals in their districts, but their doors are closed to patients due to lack of doctors and medicines.
They added that the situation has forced them to take their patients to Tirinkot, the provincial capital, for treatment.
Mohammad Naeem, a resident of Bazaar area of Khas Uruzgan district, told Pajhwok Afghan News that there were several other health centers besides the district hospital but none of them were functioning.
