JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has given in aid education materials and medical kits to schools in 22 districts of eastern Nangarhar province.
The assistance distribution was launched today, Thursday, and officials assured that the materials would be delivered to all schools in the 22 districts of the province.
Meanwhile, Nangarhar education officials said they were happy with the assistance, but insisted that there was need for further help in the province.
HabibHazratHaqqani, Nangarhar education director, while receiving the assistance in a ceremony, said that UNICEF had provided 12,399 health kits, 700 kits for implementation . . .
