JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Nineteen people, including acting administrative chief of Achin district, were wounded in a blast inside a mosque in the Spinghar district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, according to local sources.
According to local residents the blast happened in the Shadal Jamai Mosque. Syed Qayyoum Shinwari, the resident of locality, said 19 people were injured and the condition of three injured was critical.
A well-placed government source also confirmed the incident. It said acting Administrative Chief of Achin District Abdul Samad was among injured.
No group claimed responsibility for the blast.
