Power tariff significantly slashed for Neili residents

NEILI (Pajhwok): The Daikundi governor’s office has slashed the price of one kilowatt of electricity in Neili to five afghanis for residential houses and nine afghanis for commercial places.

Previously the price of one kilowatt of electricity for residential and commercia houses in the city was 31 and 39 afghanis respectively.

The decision on cutting the power tariff came at meeting chaired by Governor Haji Obaid.

Earlier, residents of the province incessantly complained about the high prices of electricity and freduent supply disruptions and outages.
